In his capacity as Khidmah’s CEO, Al Wahedi will oversee the implementation and evolution of Khidmah’s offering across multiple geographies and sectors, grow the business and ensure quality enhancement across operations. Al-Aghbar as Executive Director will manage the enforcement of Khidmah’s stringent quality and operational standards across the company’s portfolio to ensure that clients always receive value for their investments.

Jassem Saleh Busaibe, Chairman of Khidmah, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Abdulla and Maher to the growing Khidmah family. Both executives bring rich and demonstrated expertise to deliver on Khidmah’s regional growth and portfolio expansion strategy. I am confident that their rich knowledge of the sector will undoubtedly reflect positively on our current and future clients and partners.”

Busaibe added, “Abdulla and Maher will work diligently to continuously introduce improvements in service quality, identify cost efficiencies and create long-term asset value for our clients and partners.”

Al Wahedi brings over two decades of experience in the infrastructure and facilities management industry and has held a number of high-profile roles where he was responsible for managing all aspects of Facility Management Operations and expanding the business. Prior to joining Khidmah, Al Wahedi worked on iconic projects in the UAE including Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall and gained FM exposure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Maher Al Aghbar has over thirty years of experience across the Facility Management field. Before becoming Khidmah’s Executive Director, he served in numerous executive positions within the region, the United Kingdom and Canada where he was responsible for ensuring all aspects of facilities and services, including planning and operations performed with excellence. Al Aghbar holds a master's degree in Practical Engineering and is an active member of different professional FM associations, including the Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA).

Last year, Aldar Properties, Khidmah’s parent company, announced a new strategy for Khidmah to focus on delivering Facilities Management and Home maintenance services across multiple sectors including residential, education, hospitality, commercial, retail healthcare and government sectors.  The company has since been growing its presence across the UAE and the overall region.
