Emrill, the leading integrated facilities management company in the UAE, announced today the introduction of its ‘Serve your Community’ program to empower their employees to engage and support the local community. The world class service provider’s policies and strategies are founded on enduring CSR initiatives which have been awarded the Dubai Chamber’s CSR Label for two years in a row. The ‘Serve your community’ program is specifically designed to enable employees to support the local community by knowledge and skill sharing through community activities, programmes and organisations. This new initiative is an integral part of Emrill’s extensive corporate social responsibility strategy going forward. The programme encourages employees who wish to volunteer by awarding them six paid days of leave per year to participate in community or charity programmes. “Our aim is to have 50 per cent of Emrill employees utilising this initiative to participate and contribute to the country through community work by 2020,” said Jason Ruehland, Managing Director, Emrill.

This program is a natural progression of our commitment to leading corporate social responsibility practices. We are empowering all Emrill employees with the flexibility to contribute their time and skills to make a real difference within local communities.”

Through this programme Emrill employees will be encouraged to volunteer in activities with special needs organisations, environmental activities, coaching and mentoring young children within schools and projects with organisations such as Dubai Cares and Volunteer in Dubai.
