As per a press release, the ‘Run’ was open to the public with a purchase of a ticket. The activity was divided into 2.5 KM, 5 KM, and 10 KM runs in support of the NGO "Brest Friends". The NGO provides support to breast cancer patients and survivors, and collected funds from the run were donated to the Al Jalila Foundation. The participants received special t-shirts, finisher medals & certificates of participation.
Rima Nassair, Director of Owners Association at Provis, said, "It was truly inspiring to bring together around 600 people who share the same values from across the Abu Dhabi community to raise awareness around breast cancer. We had a lot of positive energy that day, and we could tell that members of the community were out there to make a difference and connect to contribute towards this important cause.”
