In taking precautionary measures and preventive steps to combat the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, cleaning companies trained by the Civil Defence in Bahrain have commenced the disinfection programme across governorates.
The director-general of Civil Defence said that the disinfection programmes have been carried out in accordance with local and international standards and in coordination with concerned authorities, the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
With the operations being carried out according to a pre-schedule, the disinfection programme is being implemented by following the completion of 44 training courses, wherein 322 individuals from cleaning and private companies were trained.
Additionally, the civil defence issued 33 certificates for the licensed companies, with their names being listed in the official websites for combating coronavirus and the websites are updated regularly, BNA reported.
