“In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we have commenced bill reduction measures for the next 3 months starting from March 14," said Ahmed bin Shafar, CEO of Empower. "The initiative is in line with the Dh. 1.5 billion economic stimulus package launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, with the aim of supporting companies and the business sector in Dubai, enhancing financial liquidity and mitigating the effects of the exceptional economic situation that the world is witnessing today."
Bin Shafar pointed out that the incentives, including a 10% discount on water, electricity and cooling services bills for all consumer groups in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, came as a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, which aims to provide the highest level of support to all citizens, residents and investors in Dubai, and to stand by everyone in the face of an exceptional circumstance the world is going through.
