The Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) has announced that MEFMA CONFEX 2022 will be held from March 14 to 16 under the theme, ‘Technology and data-driven facility management – The core of business excellence and sustainability’.

MEFMA CONFEX 2022 will aim to establish a knowledge and experience sharing platform amongst industry stakeholders by providing a unique opportunity to network and connect with the top FM professionals and decision-makers, including government representatives, developers, FM service providers and suppliers.

In addition to insightful panel sessions and multiple subject-matter presentations, the event will feature local and international case studies by well-renowned speakers and
thought-leaders. 

An exhibition and several expert-led workshops will be held alongside the CONFEX.

This year will also mark the introduction of the first 'MEFMA Awards of Excellence in FM 2022'.

Jamal Lootah, MEFMA president, said, “For the past decade, MEFMA has been continuously spreading awareness on the best facilities management practices to develop the region’s industry. Consequently MEFMA has now introduced the ‘MEFMA Awards of Excellence in FM 2022’ to showcase the Middle East’s success stories and achievements in facilities management. Today, we are proud of the milestone achieved by the MEFMA members in developing the Middle East’s facilities management industry.”

Ali AlSuwaidi, MEFMA vice president and vice chair of global FM, said, “Since its establishment, MEFMA has expanded its geographical presence in the Middle East with an aim to raise awareness on the best practices within the industry. The MEFMA Awards of Excellence in FM 2022 was introduced to showcase and acknowledge the dedication, expertise, and sheer hard work of the region’s FM industry.”
