For two decades, Transguard Group cash vans, buses, cars, motorcycles and more have been a common sight on the nation’s motorways. In an effort to provide the best possible maintenance and service for these crucial vehicles, the leading business solutions provider has inaugurated its first dedicated workshop.
“This is a significant day for Transguard,” said Dr. Abdulla Al Hashimi, Chief Executive Officer, Transguard Group. “This workshop is a prime example of our proactive approach to efficiency and will allow us even greater versatility and flexibility as we continue to serve our diverse customer base.”
With a fleet of more than 1,500 vehicles – including 400 cash vans, 165 limousines, a soft fleet of 440 vehicles, 540 buses and many more automobiles – the maintenance regime for these vehicles is significant. “Creating this dedicated space and employing skilled, in-house professionals to service our fleet will reduce downtime and make our entire transportation offering even more efficient,” explained Greg Ward, Managing Director, Transguard Group.
Located in Umm Ramool, the new facility will allow the Transguard team to flex workshop operating hours around non-peak times, adding an additional layer of efficiency to the new location.
