Real estate services giant CBRE Group has appointed a new director to its expanding leadership team in the Middle East. Arash Darabnia has joined CBRE Middle East’s Consulting team as a Director and will be broadening the Consulting leadership team operations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Utilizing his broad experience across wide segments of the real estate industry he will be heading CBRE’s Specialist Teams. Leveraging his 17+ years of experience advising on real estate projects in the MENA region and globally, he is expected to strengthen CBRE with a strong, well-established network of regional business contacts, the company said. As we continue to build and invest in our leadership team, we look forward to strengthening our relationships with clients across the region, where businesses are navigating unprecedented challenges in the wake of Covid-19.

“It is a great honour and privilege to work for CBRE and alongside the best in the business, many of whom I have worked with over the course of my 15 years in the region. I look forward to working with our clients and utilizing my diverse expertise, and am excited about CBRE’s continued involvement and commitment, to the transformation of the region and to guide our clients through these challenging times,” commented Arash.

Commenting on the new acquisition, Managing Director of CBRE Middle East, Nick Maclean, said, “Arash comes with a great network of clients and will be involved in all aspects of the consulting services, supporting and advising government entities, developers, investors, corporate clients and HNWIs with their real estate projects across the region. In addition, Michael Heitman, the Head of Consulting of CBRE Middle East, said, “Arash brings a wealth of experience and expertise to CBRE having worked in Real Estate Consulting the Middle East for one and a half decades and will further help to strengthen our presence in the region. I am very much looking forward to working with him.”
