In a landmark move, Dubai Land Department (DLD) has made all real estate data public on its website (https://dubailand.gov.ae/).
The data includes details about sales transactions, mortgages, Ejari registrations, valuations, land, building and unit data, as well as broker, developer, and projects data.
The move is expected to make the real estate market in Dubai more transparent and increase foreign direct investment.
Lynnette Sacchetto, a Dubai real estate expert, said on social media, “This is an extremely significant and proactive move by the government for Dubai real estate …. Looking forward to all of the amazing products and analysis that will be created by this, which will add further transparency to the Dubai real estate market
Mahmoud Farghally, a research specialist at DLD who played a prime role on the new development said on social media that he considers this as the most important initiative released by Dubai Land Department in a decade.
