Real estate and properties transactions valued at AED5.6bn in total during the week ending December 30, 2021, Dubai Land Department (DLD) reported.
The number of transactions stood at 1,392.
As much as 98 plots were sold for AED685.36mn, while 994 apartments and villas were sold for AED1.93bn.
The top three transactions of the week included two plots of land sold in Island 2 for around AED80mn each, followed by a plot of land sold in Jebel Ali for AED79.5mn.
Nad Al Sheba 3 recorded the most numer transactions for this week. The villa sub community saw 22 sales transactions worth AED60.55mn, followed by Wadi Al Safa 5 with 20 sales transactions worth AED94.43mn, and Jebel Ali 1 with nine sales transactions worth AED103mn.
The top three apartment sales includes an apartment sold for AED310mn in Marsa Dubai, an apartment sold for AED143mn in Business Bay, and an apartment sold for AED129mn in Burj Khalifa.
The total amount of mortgaged properties for the week was 2.69bn, with the highest being a land in Al Safouh 2, mortgaged for AED527mn.
Additionally, as much as 60 properties were granted to first-degree relatives. These were worth AED301mn.
