Building future ready communities

Data-driven property operations platform Facilio and UAE-based Anacity, which specialises in smart automation solutions, recently entered a strategic partnership to improve digitisation efforts in communities.

The landmark deal is expected to provide a one-stop solution for all community digitisation needs. By tying up with Facilio, Anacity has added computer-aided facility management of Facilio to its offering.

With this collaboration, both community and facility managers will have a one-stop platform for all their operations.

“Our product offering consists of both verticals of community and facility management which are required for the upkeep of a property as a whole. Community management and facility management are the two crucial wings of property management. To operate both in a synchronised and streamlined way is the ultimate dream for any property management. Our tie-up with Facilio exactly caters to this dream,” said Aayush.

This one-stop platform will also help in saving time, effort and costs, while making processes more streamlined and simplified for residents. This in turn, will reduce the workload of community managers.

“Computer-aided facility management and automated community management will together simplify things for residents and in turn lift the burden of ‘doing it all’ from the shoulders of managers. The more comfortable our residents are, the easier it becomes for the managers,” he says.

“For instance, now, a resident can raise a complaint or suggestion to the community manager with a single click from the Anacity App. When this complaint reaches the community team it can be easily processed, and resolution can be provided with the help of the facility team on the ground using the Facilio application,” Aayush explains.

Besides this, the partnership will assist community managers to streamline operations across many verticals like IoT driven optimisation of facility management, predictive methods of real-time monitoring, contextual data-driven insights across the community properties and keeping smart buildings interconnected for easy operations.

Giving an example, Asyush said, an OAM company supervises various amenities such as clubhouses, shops, gyms, gardens, parking facilities, etc. They also facilitate the accounting and the related functions of the community. Facility Management companies on the other hand support the functionality, safety, security, and sustainability of buildings. All these tasks if done manually turn into a burden for the management companies. Using Anacity allied with Facilio, all these management and manual tasks are automated under a single integrated database, without compromising security and data privacy.”

With this partnership, Anacity would be able to reach out to different verticals in the community management to fulfil their requirements and offer a better product.

“Because the newly revamped product gives better operational savings, energy efficiency, and improved building performance. Further, it will accelerate smart building projects and solve portfolio-level IoT deployments without redundant site-level integrations,” he says.

“The new software will also aid in generating quicker, more accurate and comprehensive consolidated reports of overall portfolio operations,” said Aayush.

Future-ready communities

For Anacity, the tie-up enhances the capabilities of its existing offerings to “build and empower smarter happy communities.

“Our strategy has always been simple – leverage the latest technology to empower communities. We never shy away from opportunities that make the community living a little easier, simpler and more efficient,” says Aayush.

According to him, happy communities are all about satisfied residents living and enjoying all the facets of community life. Our vision is to build and empower smarter happy communities.

“The future is a world of automation and artificial intelligence. With our application that already uses next-generation technology, we are building smart communities living in digitised buildings. Briefly put, future-ready communities. The new alliance makes our service more futuristic and adds more comfort to the lives of all our stakeholders- managers and residents," says Aayush.

Through the partnership, Anacity’s enhanced capabilities include preventive, condition-based, and predictive maintenance; app-based tenant service requests and visitor management; optimise costs, energy usage, and productivity. “End users and occupants will also benefit from superior experiences and quicker turnaround timings on tasks,” says Aayush.

“We want to make community living effortless for everyone involved. Facilio will be the best partner in realising that vision for us,” he adds.
