AGFS and its subsidiary company MBM had to unlearn and relearn several key lessons during the pandemic year which resulted in the evolution of their FM service delivery. Their operations imbibed several practices pertaining to Safety, Crisis Management, and ensuring a resilient supply chain. This allowed them to successfully adjust operations and continue delivering TFM solutions in these challenging times.

Adapting to these changes AGFS and MBM delivered critical government and private sector mobilizations including GAIA, IACAD, NMC, VPS, Dubai Taxi, Engineer’s Office, ADNOC Refineries, Al Wasl, ADNEC, and a host of other institutions ingrained into the identity of UAE.

Among them GAIA had a requirement of over 1200 manpower, ADNEC had over 400, while a government transportation organization had over 800. All these helped in delivering a stellar revenue growth of 15% year on year.

AGFS’s endeavor of Enhancing Life of all stakeholders and striving for agility had led to a series of groundbreaking innovations as follows:

The Centre of Excellence was backed by research-oriented management to fulfill the aim of Digital Transformation and started XR training modules to gamify training.

As part of its CSR engagements, AGFS partnered with CAFU, a tech start-up from the prestigious Al Ghurair family as a fundamental part of their Ghaf seed planting project. This partnership’s mission is to plant one million Ghaf trees to reduce levels of carbon dioxide from our direct environment. This is aligned with Dubai’s philosophy of creating innovative solutions for future generations.

The 2022 impact!

In 2021 AGFS initiated the Women in FM concept. As part of this, the core management and support team are representative of the diversity of the organization. AGFS walked the talk in this initiative and increased the female staff by 10%. “With diversity at the helm and in several teams, there is a more conscious bias to maintain a very broad level of diversity and inclusion in all that we do,” says Mohamed Adil Haneef, COO, AGFS.

By integrating AI/ML into their ERP has made it possible for them to now be more proactive, leaner, integrated, and more responsive. Even their staff have undergone a host of training schedules, be it in technology using power BI and MS Dynamics 365, or process improvement in Lean Management and Six Sigma. “Additionally multiple sessions have been conducted to reinforce the corporate governance model down to all employees. Sessions on concepts about embedding discipline, striving for agility, people and culture are conducted so that we can row forward in unison to Enhancing Life of all stakeholders,” says Mohamed Adil.

The vision

The UAE market is strongly recovering from the economic repercussions of the pandemic. Therefore, it is witnessing a substantial growth, with increasing investments in the infrastructure and real estate sector of the country, along with strong support from the government. The ongoing Expo has further catalyzed this expansion.

In the coming year, AGFS aims to foray into Energy Management and the B2C market producing a customercentric and expansive portfolio. Apart from this, they will continue to adapt technology to their service delivery and continue its customer-centric approach philosophy. “We plan to do this by diversifying our service delivery and portfolio, in line with the changing customer dynamics. To facilitate our purpose of Enhancing Life we will continue to invest in our people through a series of training programs and upskilling, to empower and retain our talent,” says Mohamed Adil.
