Jayshri Singh, Head of Communities, Three60 Communities

When Jayshri entered the industry back in early 2000 the real estate market in the region was booming. The concept of freehold properties was just about introduced in Dubai and there were many iconic projects being built across the Emirate. “I had an opportunity to be a part of the team tasked to hand over these unique homes at the Palm Jumeirah, the first man-made island in the city. There was no turning back since then,” reminisced Jayshri.

Proud moments

Over the 13 years of service, Jayshri has had the opportunity to be part of many big real estate brands & projects. And she proudly states that she has cherished every step in her career. “I am most proud to be appointed as the Head of Communities of Three60 Communities, the leading Owners’ Association Management company in the Middle East,” she added.

Barriers in Female Leadership

Having come across many female leaders in the region’s real estate industry, Jayshri said that the UAE & the Middle East have always created a highly progressive & conducive environment for women leaders. “I have met so many women leaders in this field. And the common thread among all of them is their passion, grit and determination to excel. At Eltizam Asset Management Group, Three60’s parent company, we have numerous women leading different divisions with several more being eyed to take on leadership responsibilities,” she noted.

“Trust yourself & your instincts, reach out and take every opportunity you get. Don’t feel shy or intimidated to ask people to mentor you. Work towards becoming your own story brand. Contrary to common belief that the real estate market is male-dominated, the sector, along with other industries, has numerous roles and opportunities for women. It has a lot to offer to women’s growth and vice versa. This makes me even prouder to be part of Eltizam, which has been firmly committed to creating more opportunities for women.”
