The Furtech Show, the region’s leading exhibition dedicated to furniture technology, opened for the second edition, bringing together manufacturers, brands, suppliers, and industry leaders to address the growing demand for advanced and sustainable solutions.
Positioned as more than a trade fair, the event features knowledge zones, practical training sessions, and expert-led seminars designed to highlight emerging trends, new technologies, and innovative practices in the sector.
It will also provide extensive networking opportunities aimed at fostering business development and collaboration.
The Furtech Show is running alongside Sleep Expo Middle East and UTECH Middle East Foam and Polyurethane, offering participants cross-industry engagement and wider access to synergies across furniture, sleep, and materials technology. The shows are being organised by MFX Exhbitions and Conferences.
Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of MFX Exhibitions and COnferences, said, "As a trade show organiser, we thrive on the meetings we witness between exhibitors and visitors - especially on a platform that we have built and curated for these niche industries. In fact, more than a platform, this is a movement that fosters connections and builds conversations - and this is the very foundation of our company."
Today, we opened our six trade shows with 400+ exhibitors, 4 conference theatres, 200+ speakers, and expect 8000+ visitors from over 70 countries. Our teams at Media Fusion and Crain Communications have put in every ounce of energy and effort into ensuring that we give our best. And as we close on day 1, I see that it has set the tone for our vision.
He added, "Special thanks to HE Eng Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, Director General, Dubai Municipality and Kinana Jamaluddin, Representative of Sultan Al Bohra - Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin - and the President of the Dawoodi Bohra community in the Middle East for inaugurating the shows this morning."
