Hitches & Glitches tie up with Ring to distribute smart home security solutions

UAE-based, smart home maintenance company Hitches and Glitches (H&G), which is a part of the Farnek Group, today announced an exclusive summer promotion with smart home security solutions company Ring.

H&G will retail (via its online store), distribute and install a bundle of Ring smart home security products in residential communities throughout the UAE this summer, providing convenient and effective solutions for security-conscious homeowners and tenants.

Zohaib Azhar, Head of Operations at H&G, commented: “After two years of social and travel restrictions, many UAE residents are now looking to visit family and friends or just take a relaxing holiday this summer, and it is always a source of concern leaving your home empty.”

“That’s why we’ve teamed up with smart home security solutions provider Ring, to offer homeowners and tenants some much-needed peace of mind while they are away. We have a bundle of devices, including the Ring Doorbell, Chime, indoor cameras and outdoor floodlights, conveniently packed together and installed by our trained technicians,” added Azhar.
The Ring smart security solutions featured in the package include a hardwired Ring Video Doorbell, which features a 1080p HD wired video doorbell with two-way talk, advanced motion detection, standard 2.4 GHz connectivity and customised privacy settings. Residents can receive instant notifications when anyone presses their doorbell or triggers the motion sensors straight to their phone, wherever they are.

With the outdoor Ring Floodlight Cam, homeowners and tenants can see, hear and speak to visitors from their phones, tablet or PC, with notifications as soon as movement is detected. It monitors in 1080p HD video with infrared night vision and live view, real-time video and includes built-in ultra-bright floodlights and a siren.

“Floodlight Cam easily replaces existing wired floodlights and connects to standard junction boxes. With the app, you can flash the lights, sound the alarm and zoom in to focus on your most important areas. Floodlight cam sends instant alerts to your smartphone, tablet or PC whenever it detects motion. And from the free Ring app, you can protect your property and monitor your home from anywhere,” said Azhar.

The Ring Chime Pro brings flexibility and convenience with a three-in-one solution that includes a Wi-Fi extender for Ring doorbells and cameras, a nightlight, and a chime box. Users can hear real-time notifications when motion is triggered or when someone presses the Ring Video Doorbell. The Ring Indoor Cam Plug-in – is a compact smart indoor home security camera with two-way talk, full HD live video motion detection and night vision for added peace of mind.

“Customers who purchase this bundle from our online store will not only receive a discount but free installation as well. In total, this represents a saving of over 25% compared with the RRP and normal installation charges,” said Azhar.

H&G will promote Ring’s security solutions this summer to its database of over 40,000 homeowners and tenants across the UAE, initially targeting those in residential areas, particularly villas, and those with freehold and leasehold properties in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Ring will also embark on a series of roadshows throughout the UAE, highlighting the benefits of Ring smart security solutions firsthand to homeowners and tenants alike.
