Imdaad Strengthens Regional Presence with Oman JV ‘Omdaad’

UAE-based facilities management provider, Imdaad, has announced its strategic expansion into Oman through a joint venture with Oman Real Estate and Investment (Oris), part of the Ominvest Group. The collaboration has resulted in the establishment of a new company, Omdaad, which will deliver a wide range of facilities management solutions across Oman.

This partnership marks a significant step in Imdaad’s regional growth strategy and builds on its recent expansion into Egypt with Imdaad Misr. The move enhances the company’s presence in Oman, complementing the operations of Imdaad Al Batinah, which specialises in waste management services within the Sultanate.

Strategic Partnership to Enhance Oman’s Facilities Management Sector
Abdullatif Almulla, Chairman of Imdaad, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating:
"We are honoured to partner with Oris, a company that shares our vision for regional growth and excellence. This venture reflects our commitment to advancing the facilities management industry in Oman. By leveraging Imdaad's expertise and innovative solutions, we aim to set a new benchmark in service quality and customer satisfaction across the region."

Nasser Rashid Saif Al Shibli, Chief Real Estate Officer of Ominvest, echoed these sentiments, commenting:
"Omdaad represents a transformative step for Oman’s facilities management sector. Through this partnership with Imdaad, we will introduce world-class services and innovative solutions that align with Oman’s infrastructure development goals. Together, we aim to establish Omdaad as a trusted name in the industry."

Comprehensive Service Offering
Omdaad will provide integrated facilities management services, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) maintenance, as well as soft services such as cleaning and landscaping. The company will also deliver specialised services such as fire safety systems, elevator maintenance, pest control, façade cleaning, and wastewater management.

Operating independently of Imdaad Al Batinah, Omdaad will have access to Imdaad’s intellectual property and advanced technologies, ensuring high-quality service delivery tailored to the needs of Oman’s market.

Regional Vision and Sustainable Growth
The establishment of Omdaad aligns with Imdaad’s ambition to become a leading provider of integrated facilities and waste management solutions in the GCC and beyond. As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the company is exploring opportunities across new markets, underpinned by a commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Dubai, Imdaad provides integrated and sustainable facilities management services designed to enhance the operational efficiency of physical assets. Its offerings include turnkey solutions in integrated FM, hard FM, and environmental services such as waste and wastewater management. The company also leverages its intelligent facilities management platform, Imtedaad, to provide real-time insights and predictive maintenance solutions.

Imdaad’s workforce comprises over 9,000 employees from 45 nationalities, with operations spanning the UAE, Oman, and Egypt. The company is a trusted partner across various sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, education, and hospitality.
