One of UAE’s biggest real estate developers, Nakheel has launched a new logo and branding campaign that was revealed on September 23. The big reveal followed a city-wide campaign “Happiness is no one thing”.
Nakheel posted the video of the reveal on its social media accounts. The video shows the letters in blue that form ‘Nakheel’ float between the fronds of the Palm Jumeirah before coming together to form the brand name.

The rebranding of Nakheel comes as the developer announced in August 2022 that it has started work on the Palm Deira project. The project was earlier referred to as Deira Islands, then renamed to Dubai Islands.
Nakheel’s statement August said: “Dubai Islands (formerly known as Deira Islands) will reinforce the emirate’s position as a global destination of choice for residents, visitors and investors.
“Each island will have its own unique offerings, with innovative living experiences, cultural hubs, recreational sports beaches and beach clubs, all in one interconnected location within easy access of the city and airport.”
The islands will be home to over 80 resorts and hotels, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique, family and eco-conscious hotels, “supporting Dubai’s ambition to boost the tourism and hospitality sector by increasing the number of hotel keys,” the statement added.
Some reports suggest that Nakheel is also looking to revive the Palm Jebel Ali project which has lain dormant for over a decade. The Dubai-developer is credited with giving the built environment the world’s first man-made island, Palm Jumeirah.
