Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding has officially partnered with luxury hospitality brand Nammos Hotels & Resorts to debut Nammos Ras El Hekma, marking the brand's first fully integrated destination in Egypt.
The lifestyle development is a major milestone within the massive $35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan. Spanning 170.8 million square meters on Egypt’s North Coast, the mega-development is envisioned as a next-generation greenfield city projected to attract up to $110 billion in cumulative investment by 2045.
A Mediterranean Hub in Wadi Yemm
The Nammos development will be situated inside Wadi Yemm, the first of Ras El Hekma’s 17 planned precincts to enter the construction and delivery phase. Aside from hosting high-end commercial projects, Wadi Yemm will feature several cultural landmarks designed to establish the identity of the broader coastal city.
According to developers, the new project will bring together a signature luxury resort, branded private residences, a curated retail village, premium wellness facilities, and the globally famous Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club.
"Ras El Hekma is fast emerging as one of the Mediterranean’s most ambitious destinations," said Bill O’Regan, Group CEO of Modon Holding. "With Wadi Yemm now in delivery and a growing collection of globally recognized brands choosing to be part of the destination, we are building a vibrant, year-round city designed to deliver world-class living, leisure, and investment."
Project Breakdown: Residences, Resort, and Retail
Designed to blend contemporary Mediterranean luxury with the natural coastline of Egypt, the project features distinct residential and hospitality components:
-
Nammos Residences: A premium collection of 72 branded apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, alongside an exclusive luxury penthouse.
-
Nammos Resort: A boutique hotel offering 79 keys across five categories, including junior suites, one- and two-bedroom suites, and premier presidential and celebration suites.
-
Nammos Village: A curated retail district modeled after a traditional Mediterranean village, focusing on luxury shopping, art exhibitions, and wellness experiences.
Strategic Global Expansion
For Nammos, the venture represents a significant step in its international footprint. Petros Stathis, Chairman of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, noted that Egypt's North Coast has rapidly established itself as a premier global hub, making Ras El Hekma an ideal platform for the brand's expansion.
Highlighting the design philosophy of the project, Nammos Hotels & Resorts CEO Carolyn Turnbull added that the destination will seamlessly merge hospitality and lifestyle:
"Inspired by the energy, elegance, and spirit that have defined Nammos for more than two decades, the destination will create exceptional experiences that connect people and celebrate life," Turnbull stated, emphasizing that residents and guests will have integrated access to all leisure, dining, and wellness facilities within the emerging city.
