MAB wins Louvre Abu Dhabi facilities management deal

MAB Facilities Management has won the facility management services contract for Louvre Abu Dhabi (LAD) from the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority. The contract period is five years. This project marks a new beginning for MAB, as it is the largest project in our company’s history, said a statement. Louvre Abu Dhabi is a unique and prestigious project, bringing together priceless, highly regarded artworks into the centre of the Middle East.

The museum represents many different strands of a variety of policies, including a desire to educate the local population and the large expat community about the value of art as part of the development of society, said the statement. Under this contract, MAB will be responsible for the following services: management and supervision, fire and safety, security, technical maintenance, ICT systems, general administration and cleaning, and visitor reception services.

“MAB is deeply honoured to be a part of this unique and first-of-its-kind project in the UAE. We look forward to setting a new standard of FM services for TCA Abu Dhabi in this most prestigious project,” said MAB chief executive officer Maen Saddeq.
