The facility was constructed within a week with medical equipment and appliances provided within each room.
“Our life heroes from our engineering team know no impossible,” the Dubai Health Authority stated on its official Twitter account with reference to the fast-tracked delivery of the buildings.
The modular material for the project were supplied by healthcare construction firm Modular Concepts, which specialises in “factory-built hospitals”.
The building also comprises offices for doctors and nurses, the health authority stated, with each room provided with a fresh air circulation mechanism. Additionally, filters and air purifiers were fitted in the facility for infection control.
Construction on the building was completed in line with the CLASS NICU international standards.
